My favourite teacher

As a child I was never inspired to be a teacher, although now I would have loved to have one special teacher in my childhood. But if I have to choose one of them I don't know who will be my favourite one. Unfortunately, as I've said I didn't have any teachers who inspired me to be a teacher. When I was at school I got good marks but I was really bored when I was in class. I don't know why but I don't have good memories about that period of my life. The same was at secondary school.
Everything changed when I started studying to became a teacher and specially the last two years. I realized that I was in trouble and I found out which was my real vocation, I WANTED TO BE A TEACHER!
At that time, my favourite teacher who inspired me the most was my professor Miss MÂȘ Paz. She was a great teacher because she was able to teach class in an orderly fashion but at the same time made learning fun. She was a strict teacher and expected her students to show the fullest respect towards her but she always allowed time throughout her lessons to joke around. She was full of life every day and instilled the value of learning in everyone.

She and I are still friends and we talk frequently.  I love chatting with her about the 'thens and nows' of teaching, but it all comes back to "heart". You must love teaching and she did and because of that I love learning and teaching.
